Ensure that all submitted files include:

• Keywords
• Short running titles
• Figure captions
• Tables with titles and explanatory notes

• The manuscript must be checked for spelling and grammar. Ideally, it should be reviewed by a professional editor or a native English speaker.
• References must follow the journal’s formatting style.
• Every reference listed must be cited in the text, and all in-text citations must appear in the reference list.
• Use color figures only when essential for conveying information.
• Graphs and diagrams should be in black and white, with shading used to distinguish elements.

Before submitting, confirm that your manuscript meets the following criteria:

• The work has not been published elsewhere and is not under review by another journal (unless explained to the Editor).
• The file format is OpenOffice, Microsoft Word (.DOCX only), or RTF.
• Text is single-spaced, in one column, using a 10-point font (or as specified in the journal template). Italics are used instead of underlining, except for URLs. Figures and tables are embedded in the text at appropriate locations rather than placed at the end.
• The manuscript follows the journal’s style and bibliographic guidelines.
• At least 80% of references are from recent scientific journals (within the last 10 years), except for taxonomic works.
• DOIs are provided where available.
• A proofreading certificate is included when applicable.
